Lesson 4--Herbal Teas

1. Since I'm very new and novice to teas and wasn't there for the whole class last week I feel a little out of the loop. I have no herbs at home to make any new creations and didn't go try to buy some. If I were to make my own I would try something for taste to get used to the that at this point. I like the licorice root tea in class, so I'd use 1/3 that, 1/3 berry/citrus flavored herb, and 1/3 calming or immunity herb for it's effects--something that isn't too strong as far as herbal taste.

2. In class, I like the licorice root tea the best which surprised me, because when I think of licorice I only think of the high fructose candy. I like the non-herbal taste and the sweetness. I think I would like some of the teas better at room temp or a little cooler--does anyone do this?
